MEMBERS
As one of the largest chapters of Texas College Democrats, we have various opportunities for members to get involved in local and state politics.

By joining University Democrats, members have the chance to meet their elected officials, find internships, and get involved in our mentorship program. As a student organization, we also have plenty of social and service opportunities. We host food drives, volunteer at shelters, and host profit shares for local nonprofits, as well as go to movies, have picnics, and make lifelong friends. Members of UDems come from various backgrounds and majors and are interested in different aspects of the political scene. As a member, any student has the flexibility to find what parts of University Democrats work for and interest them the most.
It's really simple to get involved in University Democrats. All students are welcome to attend our general meetings, every Wednesday at 8 PM in BUR 108. Paying dues is not required for students to participate. To become an active member of UDems, simply pay dues ($5/semester). By paying dues, you're able to participate in our club elections for endorsements and officers as well as list your involvement with us on your resume.
