As one of the largest chapters of Texas College Democrats, we have various opportunities for members to get involved in local and state politics.

By joining University Democrats, members have the chance to meet their elected officials, find internships, and get involved in our mentorship program. As a student organization, we also have plenty of social and service opportunities. We host food drives, volunteer at shelters, and host profit shares for local nonprofits, as well as go to movies, have picnics, and make lifelong friends. Members of UDems come from various backgrounds and majors and are interested in different aspects of the political scene. As a member, any student has the flexibility to find what parts of University Democrats work for and interest them the most.

Joining a caucus is a great way to advocate for and discuss the issues that matter to you most. Any dues paying member is able to propose a caucus for approval in accordance with our Constitution. Here's a list of our current caucuses:

LGBTQ Caucus

Women's Caucus (Liberal Ladies)

CS Caucus (CPUDems)

Economics Caucus

Mental Health Caucus
